We took the kiddos to the State Fair of Texas on Friday. The weather was beautiful and we were looking forward to a fun day at the fair. It was the last weekend for the fair and TX/OU weekend so needless to say it was a little crazy. We got there at 9:30 and went right to see Big Tex and eat a Fletcher's Corny Dog. Gabriela loved the corny dog. We ran into one of Tristan's classmates too. The kids enjoyed hearing Big Tex talk. Gabby does a pretty good imitation..."Howdy Folks."
We went to the car show. While we were there Tristan found a Bumblebee car. He was so excited that he was able to sit in it. Gabby wanted a red car. She didn't care what kind as long as it was red. Also at the car show Tristan was able to do the rock climbing wall. It was pretty tricky but he had fun. They also did the little hands farm which lets the kids learn what it is like to be a farmer and after they farm they can sell their goods and get a snack with their money. It is really cute. We ended the day watching pumpkin carving. It was crazy what that guy was able to do with a pumpkin.
