I can't believe it is already 4th of July! Where has the summer gone?
Although it rained A LOT we had a fun filled weekend with friends and family. We got up Saturday morning and went to the Plano Independence Day Parade. This has become a tradition for us. We pick up breakfast and hang out until the parade starts. It was a little damp but that didn't stop us from getting the annual picture with Sparky the fire dog. That evening we went to my mom's house for dinner and we were hoping to watch another parade but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us. The weather did dry up for the kids to do a few sparklers and poppers though. Sunday we went to a friend's and swam, grilled and that night watched fireworks. It was a crazy/fun weekend. Happy Independence Day!
