Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
We had a blast this year. We started the day off at church and then headed home to get a little rest before our crazy evening.

Our wonderful neighborhood organized a block party...thank you Julie and Lianne. We met up for the block party at 5:00, all the kids played and we had hot dogs and snacks. It was so nice to just relax and hang out with friends and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. We changed into costumes around 6:30 and headed out for trick-or-treating. There was a large group of kiddos that went out together. It was so fun to watch them as they headed from house to house. There was one "scary" house that all the boys went to and the girls stood at the street and watched. Even the fact that they were giving out "large" candy bars couldn't get the girls to go near. They watched with their eyes wide as the boys headed up to the door and a man with "blood" on his face handed anyone who dared come near full-size candy bars. Tristan came out and said "score!" We headed home around 8:00 with three large bags of candy and 2 exhausted children. We made lots of wonderful memories and really LOVE our neighbors.
