4th of July

We had a fun filled 4th of July. We started the day with the Plano Parade. The weather was perfect! We found a big shady spot grabbed our chairs and had a picnic breakfast as we waited for the parade to start. I also packed poppers, bubbles and silly string for the kiddos to play with while we waited. We had to get there a little early to find a good/shady spot.

After the parade we headed to my mom's to have lunch with my family. The kiddos had fun playing with their cousins Marley and Miles. As with every holiday we ate too much but it was so yummy!

Later that evening we loaded up the kiddos to see some fireworks. They were such troopers...they were starting to get tired but they stayed up to wait for the fireworks and they were not disappointed. As always we had fun things for the kiddos to do while waiting for the fireworks....glow sticks, poppers and no 4th is complete without sparklers.
