There's something wrong with my mouth

Last night was our first attempt with the no thumb sucking for Gabby. We did our normal bed-time routine, bath, milk and cookies and a show. Then the kids brushed their teeth...with their new toothbrushes and then Dave "painted" Gabby's nail with the "dentist's nail polish." Gabby was very excited about it. She went potty and marched upstairs admiring her nail. After being tucked in we thought that would be it. A few minutes later Gabriela came down stairs and is pulling on her mouth and says, "there is something wrong with my mouth daddy." Dave and I look at each other and just start to laugh. I asked her did you suck your thumb? With the pout on her face she says yes. We give her a quick drink of water and reminder not to suck her thumb. Well at least we know the "nail polish" works.
