Tristan had his Pinewood Derby race yesterday for Cub Scouts and he was so nervous. It was really cute. He wasn't worried about winning he just didn't want to come in last. He, my dad and Dave worked on his car and it was hot! It is the bright red car with yellow wheels in the gold lane. He was so proud of his car. To our surprise Tristan won the first heat, then the second. Before we knew it he was in the finals. We were really surprised when he won the whole thing! He was jumping up and down and his friends were just as happy for him. What a day, early that morning he scored 4 goals in basketball then wins his derby race. Our little guy is growing up too fast...we are so proud of him.
