Today we had Gabriela's parent teacher conference and it went really well. It is very nerve racking for me as a teacher to be on the "other" side, but Ms. Ward said all the things a parent wants to hear about their child. She said Gabby is a pleasure to teach, a good listener, contributes to class and has lots of friends. She is exactly where she needs to be developmentally and academically. We were so proud.
Ms. Ward also let us know that Gabriela is VERY loved by the boys in her class and shared with us that all the boys want to marry Gabby. We knew Gabriela had a little "boyfriend" Ethan but we didn't know about the other boys. Ms. Ward informed us that on the playground that is what everyone wants to play with her..."wedding." I think we might be in trouble.
